Your natal chart, as well as all of astrology, has do work with the planets, signs in planets, and aspects to them, in accordance with your chart.  There are always some aspects which, because of the different planets involved, seem to contradict each other. If one item seems to say the opposite in another item, then the potential for both to exist in your life. They are triggered, however, when a transit, eclipse, or progression hits one of those planets in your chart.  If you see more of one theme or explanation which is more often read than the opposing aspect (because another planet is activating it somewhere else), then that potential is what you would be looking for.  All of the interpretative text is important and accurate.  Your option, of course, is to understand that the astrology chart with interpretation is an objective look at your life, and you can extract the information which can do you the most good. That which you do not think you want to accept or put into action, especially when the aspect is something challenging, then you are at least forewarned of it's potential, thus creating a cushion of time when you are able to know in advance of the potential challenge.  This allows you to negate it or change your actions in order to create a better circumstance and outcome for yourself.   Astrology gives you the total look of your chart, and you can see the themes which stand out more for you to benefit more.
